Summer weekend scraps

先週末のロンドンにミラクルが。
なんと夏日がやってきた～!
ちょっと前まで10度前後をうろうろしていてコートが手放せなかったのに、
この週末は半袖で外を歩けるほど!
しかも、今まで狙ったかのように週末だけ雨だったりしたのに、素晴らしいお天気に恵まれました!

A miracle happened!
We had summer days in London last weekend, yey!!
It's been really cold recently enough to wear my winter coat, but finally I could wear a short sleeve t-shirt!
And we had lovely sunshine too!!

土曜日はものすごく久しぶりにケンブリッジへ行ってきました。
ケンブリッジへはイギリスに来た都市、10年前に行った以来。
しかもそのとき、カメラも忘れてしまったので、今回はリベンジでした。

We went to Cambridge on Saturday.
I had been there, but it was 10 years ago!
I forgot my camera that time, so I wanted to go there again to take photos.

大学の中は試験期間中で見られなかったものの、パントにのったり、楽しく過ごしました!

We couldn't see the inside of universities, but we did punting, it was fun!

日曜は家の近くでピクニック。
今年初です!
リッチモンドへ行くはずでしたが道路がすごく混んでたので計画変更。
お手軽にチズィックへ。
そしたら乗ったバスが路線変更したおかげでなんだかかわいいカフェを見つけました!
タンハムグリーンのおいしいジェラート屋さんでジェラートも食べられたし満足。

On sunday, we had a picnic.  It was our first picnic this year!
We were going to Richmond to see Isabella Plantation, but the traffic was so busy, so we changed the destination to Chiswick.
And we found a nice cafe as our bus diverted.
We had delicious gelato from a genuine gelato shop at Tunham Green, we enjoyed the weekend so much!
