We went to Hackney Flea Market on Stoke Newington Church Street.

ストークニューイントン・チャーチ・ストリートでやっている、ハックニー・フリーマーケットへ行ってきました。

Hackney Flea Market

Stoke Newington Church Street has been popular as it is quite close to the lovely residential area in Newington Green.
Also very close to Kingsland High Street area where got Overground and cool cafes and bars.
So, Stoke Newington Church Street is still getting popular and popular, specially, for young couples and families.
The market has mainly the 50-60s modern vintages, and unique items.
I wish The Mad Vintage can join the market one day :)

ニューイントングリーンに続くステキな住宅街が近いこともあって、昔から人気のあるエリアだったストークニューイントン・チャーチストリート。
ここから程近いキングスランドロードが、最近オーバーグラウンドが通り、おしゃれなカフェやバーがたくさんできていることから人気がうなぎのぼりのエリアです。
そういう事情もあって、若いカップルや家族が多いこのエリア。
こちらのマーケットも、50-60年代のモダンなデザインのヴィンテージや、ユニークなアイテムが中心。
The Mad Vintageも、いつか参加させていただきたい!

We had not been there for a long time and we found some new shops.

この通りだけでもたくさんのカフェやヴィンテージショップ、雑貨屋があって楽しいです。
久々に行ってみて、まだかわいいショップができていたのでご紹介。

Search & Rescue

They have cute stationery and furniture, and lovely gifts.

ステーショナリーから家具まで、かわいいものがそろうギフトショップ。

They have Scandinavian cute design items, simple and minimal tableware and kitchen ware, lovely cards, cool magazine, etc.....
It's a stylish life style shop.

北欧のかわいいデザインの食器や小物、オーソドックスだけれどシンプルで機能的な食器、キッチン用品、そしてかわいいデザインのカード、おしゃれな雑誌など…
センスのよいライフスタイルショップ。

We have to go to this cafe next time....
and we went to another nice cafe. I will write about it next time.

I went to a workshop studio of Colenimo, which has very girly cute collection.

先日、ロンドンでガーリーなラインを展開しているコレニモさんのワークショップスタジオにお邪魔しました。

Colenimo has a studio in the stylish area in East End, like a secret place.
A small simple space, but it is perfectly Colenimo's world.

イーストエンドのおしゃれなエリアにひっそりとある隠れ家のようなスタジオ。
小さな空間、シンプルなのに、コレニモの世界観が完全に出来上がっています。

Visiting the studio is only for appointments.
You can see and try the collection, and of course buy them.
In the studio, there are already SS15 collection!
I completely fall in love with this brand which has girly and nostalgic design, like vintage.
I think it is very rare brand in London where always want the latest fashion.
I wish The Mad Vintage accessories collaborate with Colenimo one day!

アポイントメントオンリーですが、こちらで商品を見たり試着したり、もちろん直接購入できます。
スタジオにはすでにSS15のラインがずらり!
ガーリーで、ちょっとノスタルジックなヴィンテージスタイルを基調とするコレニモにすっかり夢中。
常に最先端を追うファッションが多いロンドンで、こういうスタイルのブランドはとっても貴重です。
いつか、The Mad Vintageのアクセサリーとも競演させていただきたい!!

Colenimo has hats as well.
The panama hat on the wall was what I have been interested.
Hats are difficult items to see that it suits you or not without trying, so it's good to have a place to try them on.

コレニモさんは少しですが帽子も展開しています。
壁にかけてあるパナマハットは私もずっと気になっていたもの。
帽子はやっぱりかぶってみないとなんともわからないので、試着できるのはうれしいです。

This is the designer Aya's favourite from SS15.
The print is colourful and cute.

ちなみにデザイナーのあやさんのお勧めはこちら。
カラフルなチェックがかわいいです。

My favourite is this Irish linen set up. (The photo is from Colenimo)
So cute, and looks nice texture.
It was absolutely popular in the SS15 order tea party.
I love them so much too!

アイリッシュリネンのセットアップ。
かわいいし、肌触りも良さそう!
SS15お披露目のときもダントツで人気でした。
この日も早速試着してる方がおられましたよ。
私もグレーかブルーで欲しいな!

It was not only viewing the beautiful Colenimo collection, but also we talked about our life, specially business....:)
Recently I feel a bit depressed about my life.
Talking to this creator who have been doing an independent business gives me inspiration and courage.
How wonderful to live with a job what you really love.
I'll keep going.

この日は、ステキなコレニモのラインを見せてもらうだけでなく、
ちょっと鬱々になり気味な日々だったので、刺激をもらいに行きました。
とっても大変だけれど、好きなことをやって生きていくというのは素晴らしいこと。

I would like to write about my 2 favourites in Saint Paul.

A tiny shop with full of romantic vintages!!
The shop was like a treasure cave for girls, lovely treasures were packed in the shop from the ceiling to the floor.
All items were so cute and lovely, I could stay for a long time......

小さなお店はロマンティックなヴィンテージたちでいっぱい!
女の子向けの宝の洞窟のように、天井から床までそれこそぎっしり。
(ぎっしりすぎて手に取りづらい!）
とにかくどれもかわいくて、小さなお店なのにずっといていられる…本当にステキなお店です。

Au Petit Bonheur La Chance

I bought this santa candle in this shop. Great Christmas souvenir from Paris :)

こちらで買ったのが、かわいいサンタさんのキャンドル。

今回は５０-６０sのかわいいサンタさんモチーフを集めていたので、よいパリ土産になりました。

Au Petit Bonheur La Chance

EW has romantic vintages, and this shop has pop ones.

The shop was full of pop and cute vintages.

Especially, Their collections of cafe au lait bowls, canisters, and enamel coffee pots were amazing.

Everytime I go to Paris, I had to go to this shop!

EWがロマンティックな雰囲気ならこちらはポップな感じ。

ポップでかわいいヴィンテージがこちらもぎっしり。

特にカフェオレボウルやキャニスター、琺瑯のコーヒーポットのコレクションは圧巻。

こちらも毎回足を運ばずにはいられないお店。

Noel in Paris パリのクリスマス　Dec 2014　Vol.6

Saint-Paul is one of the areas I always go when I go to Paris.
It's not only because there are lots of antique shops, but also I love the atmosphere around the area
It's near La Seine but quieter than the area near La Cite island where lots of tourists are.
And it's beautiful...

パリに来たら絶対行ってしまうエリアの一つ、サン・ポール。
大好きなアンティークショップのエリアというのもありますが、
これまた大好きなエリア、マレに近かったり、セーヌ川も観光客の多いシテ島辺りよりは静かだし、ひっそりとした路地、特にヴィラージュ・サン・ポールの穏やかな雰囲気が好き。

Village Saint Paul is a court with lots of antique shops.
There was an antique market in the courtyard that weekend.

ヴィラージュ・サン・ポールは、中庭を囲んでアンティークショップが軒を連ねます。
この週末は中庭にマーケットも出ていました。

Antique shops in Village Saint Paul are very various, from posh antiques and kitsch vintages.

アンティークショップは、とってもポッシュな何百年前のアンティークから、キッチュなヴィンテージまでいろいろ。

Those shops are a bit pricey for my business,
but there are some my favourite lovely vintage shops, so I can't ignore them.
I will show those shops next time!

ここも私にとってはお手軽に買い付けできるような場所ではないのですが、
これまたセレクションが素晴らしいお気に入りのお店が何軒かあるので、必ず寄ってしまいます。
このお店はまた次回に。
