Picnic, picnic!

皆さんよい週末をお過ごしでしたか?

ロンドンはバンクホリデーの3連休、晴れ続き。奇跡!!


How was your weekend?
We had a beautiful sunny bank holiday weekend.  Miracle!!!



土曜日は、久しぶりに女友達グループとお茶。

ラデュレのテラスでお茶としゃれ込みました。

やっぱり、女友達って大切だわ。


Saturday, I went for a tea with my girlfriends.
We had a nice chat at the terrace of Laduree.
I love my girlfriends!!!

私がラデュレで優雅にお茶しているあいだ、相方さんは丸一日、お庭で働いておりました…。

そんな相方さんにお礼をこめて、プライヴェート・ラデュレ・ティールーム!!

このお茶、メランジュ・ラデュレというのですが、と～ってもおいしかったのでお持ち帰り。

オレンジ、キャラメル、バニラとアマ～イ中にもベルガモットが入っているので、
アールグレイがもっと香り豊かになった感じ。

我が家の週末スペシャルティー（週末だけ飲む特別なお茶!）に決定!

今までのクスミのアナスタシアよりお手ごろな値段なのもポイント高い。

夕方は、日本から持ち帰ったおいしい梅酒を惜しみながら頂きました。

私も相方さんもお酒はそんなに飲むほうじゃないけど、梅酒は大好き。

ジャパンセンターでチョーヤの梅酒を買ってしまおう…


While I had a tea with girls, my partner was working in our garden all day....
So I held the private Laduree tea room at home for him!!
I love the tea at Laduree so I bought it.
It's called Merange Laduree.  It has orange, caramel, vanilla, Bergamot, and so on.
It's like more gorgeous Earl Gray tea.
This is now our weekend special tea!
It's cheaper than Kusumi's Anastrasia (our current wkend special tea), which is good.
In the evening, we had plum wine from Japan for aperitif.
It was the last glasses.............  We loved plum wine although we don't drink usually.
We shall buy another one in Japan Centre......



日曜日は、とってもいいお天気だったので、サイオン・パークへ行ってきました。

Sunday, It was very good weather, so we went to Syon Park.

 

サイオン・パークは、近所にある現役貴族のお屋敷なのですが、（ご近所さんが貴族!!）
お屋敷とお庭を一部公開しています。

ずっと行ってみたくて、お庭を散歩するなら花の咲く春!と決めていて、まだ行ったことがなかったのです。

想像してたよりももっとずっと、自然に近い庭園で、ピクニックにはもってこいでした。

青空を仰ぎながらお昼寝なんて…ああ、ずっと夢見ていたピクニック!


Syon Park is the house and garden of the Duke of Northumberland.
The part of house and garden is opened to public.
It's near our flat, so I'd wanted to go there.
But I decided to go there in Spring time to see flowers in the garden.
The garden is very natural and lovely for picnic.
Lying on the grass and looking up the blue sky.......  We've been longing to do it!!!



月曜日は、私は仕事だったのですが、
午前の仕事を終わらせ、すぐにジャズのクラスを受け、またまたピクニックへ走ります!!

今度は北の、ハムステッドへ。


Monday, I was working, but went to jazz class after work, and then ran for another picnic!!
We went to Hampstead, North London.

緑いっぱいのハムステッドは、大好きなロンドンの公園の一つ。

この日は風が吹くと寒かったんですが、お日様が出ている限りは、意地でもピクニック。

私が仕事だったので、相方さんにざるそばの用意を頼んだのですが、
せっかくのざるそばランチなのに、相方さん、つゆを忘れてきてしまう…。

運よく、私が気を利かせてスナックを買っていたので、餓死は免れました。

（この日は寝坊して朝ごはん食べてなかったのだ!）


This green Hampstead is one of our favourite parks in London.
It was a bit cold when the wind blew, but we did picnic as long as the sun was shining.
I asked my partner to prepare Japanese noodles for lunch as I was working,
but he forgot the sauce for noodles....  (there's no taste in noodles without sauce!)
Luckily I bought some snacks and fruits, so we weren't starved.
(I didn't have breakfast that day!)

ハムステッドの大邸宅の中を歩くのも好き…。

この辺のおうちはほんとにステキな建物ばかり。

どこからか、ジャズの生バンドの演奏…。

どこぞのセレブがガーデンパーティをしている模様…


I love the town of Hampstead.....
Beautiful big buildings.....  I wish I lived there..
I could hear the jazz band music.
I guessed someone was having the garden party......

ハムステッドに来たら、ジェラート!!

もしくは、このジェラートを食べたいがために、晴れた日はハムステッド。

ってなくらい、お決まりのジェラートやさんでアイスを食べます。


When we come to Hampstead, we always have gelato.
Or, I could say we go to Hampstead to have gelato when it's sunny.
We love this gelato shop in Hampstead!!

 とまあ、この3日間、太陽を楽しんだものつかの間、今日は雨で寒いったらありゃしない。

昨日は夏服だったのに、今日はまたタートルネックに厚手のニットカーデを羽織ってる始末…。

ピクニックで摘んできた花と、ラデュレの紅茶をかわいいティーカップで入れて、気分を持ち上げよう。

本格的な夏は一体いつ来るのかな…

（春はもういいから、せめて夏だけでも…）


We enjoyed sunshine for these 3 days, but it's pretty miserable weather today.....
I wore summer dress yesterday, and now I'm wearing turtle neck jumper and thick knit cardigan.
I make a nice cup of tea from Laduree with beautiful flowers from picnic to cheer me up.
I hope Summer's coming soon!!!  (I gave up Spring.)
