On Sunday, I went out with my girl friend in East London for shopping and walk.
いつも相方さんとよく来るけれど、相方さんと一緒だとゆっくり買い物できないんだよね…。
視線が痛いというか…。
それに私、友達が少ないばかりか、特にロンドンの女友達で古着屋めぐりしてくれる人がぜんぜんいない。
なのでこの日はのびのび買い物できて楽しかった。
I often come to East End, but I can't really take time for shopping with my partner
because I always take time to think to buy or not..................
Also, I don't have many friends who can cope with my vintage shopping....
So I really enjoyed that day of East End vintage shopping tour.
お買い物に疲れたら、カフェで一休み。
ブリックレーンに新しくできたこのカフェ。
新しく、といっても、もうだいぶ前にできていて、いつかいつか、と思いながら結構たってしまった。
なので、イーストが好きな人にはもうおなじみのカフェかも。
We had a coffee break at the new cafe in Brick Lane.
Actually it's not really new as it opened a while ago.
If you like East End, you might have been there already.
入り口にはとってもイングリッシュなケーキたちが並んで。
There are lots of very English cakes in the window.
まだまだ中にもいっぱいありますよ。

この辺りにカフェは前からあったけれど、こんな広々としたカフェは初じゃなかろうか。
天窓もあるし、ソファ席もあるし、WiFiもあるしで長居できるカフェとしては満点!
There are lots of cafes in East End, but I guess this is one of the beggest cafes there.
The light from the skylight, a comfortable sofa, free Wifi.......
Perfect as a cafe we can stay long :)
友人が選んだケーキはラズベリーのケーキ。

私はオレオケーキ。
あま～いイングリッシュケーキだけど、甘過ぎのちょっと手前という、絶妙な甘さ。
甘くなければイングリッシュケーキじゃないし、かといって甘すぎなのはちょっと…。
というつぼを押さえたケーキ。スポンジもふわっふわ。

It's sweeeeeeeeeet English cake, but it wasn't too sweet.
English cake must be very sweet, but I don't very sweet cake.
This cake had just perfect sweetness for me!
The sponge cake was so soft too. :)
ひろ～いスペースにアートが展示してありました。
私もここで写真展できたらな～。
There was an art exhibition.
I wish I held my photo exhibition there..... :)
